The 1st GIST Soft Matter Nanoscopy Symposium on TEM frontiers in unraveling Soft Materials was held in our laboratory (SOMAT). It was a place where world-wide professors and researcher with GIST students shared research and technology and advance together.

Prof. Nathan C. Gianneschi from Northwestern University gave a presentation on the topic "Liquid phase TEM for Hydrogel Strucutre Elucidation and Property Prediction".

Prof. Jong Min Yuk from KAIST gave a presentation on the topic "Liquid phase TEM of Silicon Etching and Biological Specimens".

Prof. Hyo Sung An from Chonnam National University gave a presentation on the topic "Seeking Regularity from Irregular Structure in Soft Materials".

Dr. Simon Ma from Protochips (VP, Global Sales) gave a presentation on the topic "How I Found Universal Gravitation with Apples".

Dr. Seung Min Kim from KIST gave a presentation on the topic "(In-situ) TEM Approach for CNT Synthesis and LIB Cathode Research".

Prof. Sang Ho Oh from KENTECH gave a presentation on the topic "In-situ Characterizations on the Formation Mechanism of the Infinite-Layer Transition Metal Iron Oxide".

"The 1st GIST Soft Matter Nanoscopy Symposium on TEM frontiers in unraveling Soft Materials [I]"를 우리 연구실 SOMAT에서 개최하였습니다. 세계적으로 저명한 교수님들 및 연구자분들과 GIST 학생들이 연구와 기술을 공유하고 함께 발전하는 자리였습니다.
